Abstract
Pursuing organizational well-being in the workplace means understanding and managing the differences through actions and practices aimed at favouring a fair distribution of family and professional responsibilities between the two sexes, through the organization of working conditions and time. Most men consider work as a pillar of their identity, an instrument of social affirmation and personal fulfilment, but, for many women work is one of the many aspects of life, as well as a simple livelihood. The world has apparently made tremendous progress in achieving gender equality and emancipation of women, but, actually, there are still strong asymmetries in the social and economic recognition of work and about women’s role. Episodes of discrimination, hardship and violence are a daily occurrence in working environments, even though there’s an extensive216 legislation governing women's work, which should guarantee respect for equal opportunities. One of the most useful tools to create work well-being is building a collaborative and motivating work environment, where the differences between the two sexes and the related talents are valued. Which role can pedagogy play in this area? How is it possible to reconsider it, tracing new avenues for men and women to educate them to the values of equality, cooperation and understanding and guide them towards a path of freedom and autonomy?. This study aims at searching for alternative processes and practices to exploit maximum female potential, integrating women into a growth path which should increase the Human Capital, that is, the abundance of knowledge, professional and relational skills that, as well as fostering growth and progress of a country, promote a full realization of peopleI documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
