The abstract presents a pilot study about formative assessment conducted at the University of Foggia during the academic course 2022–2023 with the aim of improving students’ active participation and formative assessment opportunities. The peculiarity of this study is the use of the digital tool of Kahoot! with an active approach through the student-generated multiple choice tests (MCT).
