The case of the Sibaritide Cultural Park represents an interestingexperience because, through the enhancement of cultural heritage, it aims tosatisfy one of the transversal objectives of the SDGs of the United NationsAgenda 2030: Reinforce the meanings of implementation and revitalize globalcollaborations for sustainable development, an objective that underlines theawareness of the need for a strong involvement of all components of society,from businesses to institutions, from civil society to philanthropic associationsand organizations, from universities and research centers to operators of informationand culture. The Sibaritide project looks with particular attention, inother words, to increasing the collaboration capacity of the various componentsof society, a determining element that has often been referred to as “socialcapital” for development economists.
