Teaching-learning Process: Physical Education as Transversality and Body Integration

Recent research related mainly to neuroscience, higher cognitive function and the sensory-motor system are inter connected in interesting ways. Some empirical evidence sug gests that the state of the body is the foundation of informa tion processing and the idea that incarnations influence dif ferent aspects of mental events. By accepting this theoretical foundation as a starting point, it is possible to demonstrate the cognitive importance manifested as a new perspective that takes into account the mental processes that rely on the way the body interacts with the environment. The current theoretical framework shows how important physical education and sport are as important components in the teaching-learning process, als
