However, despite its significance, this aspect of special education is one of the least studied in academic research and is often overlooked in laws pertaining to inclusion. This may be attributed to the relatively new focus on this area within Italian educational institutions. The purpose of this essay is to examine the inclusive measures adoptedby Italian schools within their scope of autonomy. It will delve into the obstacles, tactics, and outlooks that contribute to fostering a genuinely inclusive educational environment, beginning with the policies established by the Italian Ministry of Education and Merit.
