The anniversary of Dante’s 700 years from death coincides with a massive experi- mentation in distance learning due to the Covid health emergency that leads us to reread his work in a pedagogical key. The first Dantedì, on 25th March 2020, took place entirely in distance, and numerous Mooc courses have brought the specialists closer to new technologies and teaching methodologies. Dante is still modern and begins to inspire also pedagogists, giving new energy to educational innovation and the production of stimulating distance learning courses.

Abstract
