Abstract
The British Supreme Court has addressed, with thehelp of eleven judges, the thorny issue of relations betweenParliament, the Crown, the Government and the Su-preme Court itself, restating once again the supremacy ofthe role of Parliament both as a legislative body and forthe control over the Government’s work. With a historical reconstruction, the Court has out-lined the limits to the exercise of the prerogative by clar-ifying how parliamentary activity cannot be compressedand limited by a reckless use of the parliamentary right, that would produce a “vulnus” into this delicate balance– inspired by the principles of loyalty and correct collabo-ration – between the powers of the State.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
