Contrastare il fenomeno del Cyberbullismo a scuola: strategie preventive e interventi educativi per un ambiente digitale sicuro

The contribution aims to explore the phenomenon of cyberbullying, analysing its main characteristics and prevention strategies. It is emphasised that although it occurs online, it is closely linked to the school environment, with bullies and victims often present in the same school. School institutions are also identified as a focal point for the prevention and management of this phenomenon, through specific policies, targeted educational programmes and the involvement of students, parents and teachers and the whole community. The intention is to highlight the importance of an integrated and systematic approach, including appropriate forms of support for victims and remedial action for bullies, as well as training for teachers and parents on how to monitor and protect young people online. Also discussed is the importance of technologies as prevention tools, which can be transformed from potential risk factors to protective factors when appropriately, responsibly and consciously used.

Il contributo intende esplorare il fenomeno del cyberbullismo, analizzandone le caratteristiche principali e le strategie di prevenzione. Viene sottolineato come esso, pur avvenendo online, sia strettamente legato all'ambiente scolastico, con bulli e vittime spesso presenti nella stessa scuola. Le istituzioni scolastiche sono anche identificate come un punto focale per la prevenzione e la gestione di questo fenomeno, attraverso politiche specifiche, programmi rche include forme supportive adeguate per le vittime e azioni di recupero per i bulli, nonché interventi di formazione degli insegnanti e dei genitori su come monitorare e proteggere i giovani e quali strumenti di prevenzione, che possono trasformarsi da potenziali fattori di rischio a fattori protettivi quando opportunamente, responsabilmente e consapevolmente impiegate.
