Starting with a reflection on the strategic role of children’s services in the inclusion processes of the most vulnerable children and families, the article illustrates the experience of the ‘Family Hub’ project, implemented in several Italian cities between 2018 and 2021. It is a project aimed at encouraging the participation of young children and their parents in early childhood education and care services. Many actions were implemented by the project through the participatory and networking methodology. The article focuses in particular on the perceptions of the educational staff regarding the results of the inclusion practices implemented by the project.

Abstract
