Abstract
Maritain describes the nature and source of human rights giving exhaustive explanations about the human person and ethical relations, arguing that organization of the economy should be based on a fundamental principle that goes from below to above, according to the principles of personalistic democracy. In synthesis, against any dictatorship by a corporative, paternalist or collective State, the freedom of groups and associations of an inferior rank with regard to the State and the quality of the moral person should Always be the primary points that enable passing on to a humanist regime. As a sovereign organism, the State cannot eliminate freedom among people, it can only coordinate and control. Conclusions are that the political organization of the State ought to recognize the human person's rights to political life and base itself on the political rights and liberties of its citizens. The political life of the State should express the thought and the will of the citizens with regard to the common good.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
