Abstract
The article analyzes the transformative role of ecomuseums in decolonizing cultural narratives, exploring how these institutions can contribute to dismantling dominant colonialist and Eurocentric narratives. Ecomuseums emerge as spaces of democratic participation, capable of giving voice back to local communities and promoting a more inclusive and pluralistic narration of cultural heritage. Through decolonial pedagogical practices and participatory approaches, communities are involved in the co-production of knowledge and the valorization of their own cultural and historical identities. Adopting digital technologies and immersive storytelling further amplifies community engagement, facilitating shared learning and socio-cultural empowerment.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
