The proposal presents the first results of an empirical study on child-educator mediation carried out during the practicum within the ‘Scienze dell’educazione e formazione’ bachelor degree (SEF). The study followed a broad explanatory sequential mixed method design. This work describes analysis and results of mixed questionnaire. The results highlight benefits of activities guided by NAO for kindergarten children. Educators and parents observed significant improvements in motor skills and engagement, suggesting that integrating robotics into education can be an effective strategy to support children’s development. At the same time, they ask for greater training and involvement, as well as recognition of the central educator-child relationship.
