Marginalità della pianificazione tra società e potere

The article analyses the relationships between plan – main topic of the paper –, power and society. The first section examines some of the main meanings of the three terms and reconstructs some of the relationships that bind them closely. From these relations the plan derives as an accessory tool, used thanks to agreements and conveniences between society and power. For these reasons the planner needs to rethink his position in the decision-making system through a technical reconstruction of his role.

L’articolo analizza il rapporto tra piano – argomento centrale del testo – potere e società. Dopo aver esaminato alcuni dei principali significati dei tre termini, se ne ricostruiscono alcune delle relazioni che li legano strettamente. Da queste relazioni il piano esce come strumento accessorio, il cui uso deriva da accordi e convenienze tra società e potere. Ne deriva, da parte del pianificatore, la necessità di ripensare il proprio posizionamento nel sistema decisionale attraverso una ricostruzione tecnica del suo ruolo.
