This research project has been carried out in the field of Business Education (BE) with the aim of identifying the main teaching and learning approaches, educational technologies and Faculty Development (FD) initiatives adopted by the top 100 Business Schools (BS) in the world and measuring their impact on MBA student learning and employability. By conducting a scoping review, it has been possible to define the main educational approaches and FD activities existing in the literature. Subsequently, a conceptual content analysis for existence has been carried out on the websites of the top 100 BSs in the world to observe the best and most common teaching practices. The results identify Experiential Learning as the most widely used didactic approach; educational technologies have far fewer mentions than didactic approaches, mainly referring to learning tools and environments; finally, FD initiatives are fairly recurrent but not ubiquitous. The research is currently accomplishing an online survey addressed to the instructors, directors and/or dean of the first 100 BSs in order to collect their opinions and impressions regarding the variables under study. It will then proceed with the triangulation of data from the statistical reports of the BSs, the various BS rankings and the evaluation reports of the accreditation agencies to measure student learning and employability. Finally, through the triangulation of the data obtained and the triangulation of the methods used, it will be possible to measure the relationship between the variables and verify or falsify the research hypothesis.

Abstract
