The paper explores the intersection between Embodied Education (EE) and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) in an integrated design system that recognises the body as a primary mediator in the active construction of knowledge, and considers immersive technologies as tools to enhance student engagement, promote sensory integration, and support personalised learning processes. With reference to the recent UDL 3.0 Guidelines (CAST, 2024), the most relevant and closely related considerations for promoting the use of the body and new technologies to realise a learning environment that accommodates individual differences through the plurality of modes of representation, action, expression and engagement are traced. The contribution is enriched by a didactic proposal aimed, in particular, at primary school.
